A diligent worker, he started his first job at age 12, and held several jobs throughout his high school years.

He served for 23 years in the United States Air Force. Although raised in the church, it was while stationed at Andersen Air Base on the island of Guam in April 1975, he confessed Jesus as Lord, and accepted his call to ministry in December of that year. Since then, he has pastored in Okinawa Japan, Grand Forks North Dakota, Misawa Japan, Pratt City Alabama, Panola Alabama, and Starkville Mississippi. He has ministered in North Dakota, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, California, South Carolina, Maryland, Winnipeg Canada, Guam, Japan, Trinidad and Tobago.

Pastor Mostella is a graduate of the Air Force Senior Leadership Academy, the Air Force Academic Instructors’ School, the Department of Defense Equal Opportunity and Management Institute and the National Crime Prevention Institute in Saint Louis, MO. He has twice been named an Outstanding Young American by the JAYCEES.

He is a winner of the Los Angeles County Federal Executive Award and numerous other military and civilian commendations.
